Continuing Education: approved courses by state, per-person CE reporting, and emails from the roster
The outlines you have filed with each state live in PrismAMS now, a class is scheduled from an approved course in one click, every attendee has a Report CE checkbox and a note, the filing roster prints for the class file, and you can email a class's attendees without leaving the roster.
Associations that provide CE keep two sets of books: the courses the states have approved, and the classes actually on the calendar. Until now only the second one was in the system. Continuing Education brings the first one in and ties them together.
- Approved courses: one row per course per state with the state's course number, credit hours, approval and expiration dates, the instructor, the filing fee and where it was filed. Filter by status and state, see what expires in the next 90 days, attach the outline, and keep your provider number for every state in one place.
- Schedule class: pick an approved course and the new event opens with the hours, approved states and course numbers already filled. Only approved courses can ever show to members; submitted, rejected and expired rows stay with staff.
- Report CE per person: a checkbox on every roster row. Ticked, the credit is on their transcript and they are on the state filing. Unticked, they attended for the information only. It can be taken back, and a note next to it records why.
- CE filing report: who was reported and who was not, with licence number, state, NPN and the course number for their state, as a printable page for the class file or a spreadsheet.
- Email attendees from the roster: everyone by status or just the rows you tick, through your own email settings, with your association's footer. Set reminder days on the class and the details email goes out automatically that many days before.
- A registrant is always a person. Picking an organization now asks who is attending and links them to the organization, so a company never ends up on a roster by itself. A licence from a state the class is not approved in gets a visible warning, not a silent CE filing.
Open Continuing Education in the Association section. The new tabs are Class catalog, Approved courses and CE by person.
