AI workflows that run on your whole book, not just the file you uploaded.

Most insurance AI sits outside your system of record. You export a PDF, upload it somewhere else, get an answer back, then paste that answer into the place it actually belonged. PrismAMS runs the same workflows against data that is already yours. The client, the policy, the claim, the document and the ledger are in one tenant, so the AI does not have to be told what it is looking at.

What's included

Everything in ai workflows, shipped today.

Quote & policy comparison

AI

Drop in the expiring policy, the new quotes, or both. PrismAMS normalizes across carriers and returns limits, deductibles, endorsements and forms side by side. Three modes: renewal, shopping and audit, because comparing two renewal options is a different question from auditing what actually got bound.

Severity ranking

Every difference comes back ranked, so the endorsement that moves E&O exposure is not buried under twelve formatting differences. You read the top of the list, not the whole document.

Coverage gap analysis

AI

Surfaces missing and inadequate coverage against the exposures on the account. Because it runs inside the AMS, it can be pointed at a single account or left to run across the book.

Document intelligence

AI

Reads dec pages, ACORDs, carrier notices, loss runs and correspondence, classifies them, and pulls structured fields out. Handles scanned and photographed paper, not just clean digital PDFs.

Document comparison

AI

Any two documents, not just policies. Useful for application versus bound, quote versus issued, and this-year versus last-year on anything the carrier sends.

Ask your book

AI

Plain-English questions answered against your live data. Which accounts renew in ninety days with no loss runs on file. Who has GL but no umbrella. Which carrier has quietly taken over a third of your book.

Account briefs

AI

One-page prep for a client meeting, assembled from the policy history, the claims, the open tasks and the last six months of correspondence.

Submission processing

AI

Turns an inbound submission into structured data and routes it, instead of leaving it to be re-keyed off an email.

Carrier intelligence

AI

Reads what your carriers are actually doing across your book: appetite drift, rate movement, and where a market is quietly non-renewing.

Cross-sell intelligence

AI

Rule-driven and AI-surfaced gaps across the book, scored, so the list a producer opens on Monday is ranked rather than alphabetical.

Win/loss analysis

AI

Reads lost-reason capture and the surrounding history to tell you why business actually leaves, by carrier, producer and line.

PrismAMS Writing

AI

A real-time writing assistant inside Outlook. Checks grammar, tone and E&O compliance on the email as it is written, and rewrites on request. Runs as a native Outlook add-in on desktop and web.

Playbooks & workflow automation

Multi-step processes with owners, due dates and triggers, so a renewal or an onboarding runs the same way every time regardless of who picked it up.

How it works

Four steps, no export in the middle.

  1. 01

It starts with data you already own

No upload step for anything already in the system. The policy, the client, the claim and the document are in your tenant, so a workflow can be pointed at an account rather than a file.

  2. 02

    Every answer is tenant-scoped

Queries run through a tenant-scoped procedure at the application layer and row-level security at the database layer. Two independent barriers, not one.

  3. 03

    Findings come back ranked

Severity first. The output is designed to be triaged in a minute, not read end to end.

  4. 04

The output lands where the work happens

Results attach to the client and policy record, feed tasks, and leave over the REST API if you want them somewhere else.

Why it's different

What a bolt-on AI layer structurally cannot do.

  • Run continuously across the entire book instead of one uploaded file at a time.
  • Write straight to the policy record, because it is the same database rather than someone else's API.
  • See the accounting side of the account, so a coverage question can account for what was actually billed.
  • Survive the vendor losing its integration. There is no integration to lose.
  • Answer a question that spans clients, policies, claims and the ledger in a single pass.

FAQ

Common questions.

+Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Your data is not used to train, fine-tune or improve any model, ours or a provider's. Requests go to the model provider's API, which does not train on API inputs, and we do not retain content for training purposes.

+Can I see where an answer came from?

Yes. Extraction and comparison results reference the source document so a reviewer can check the finding against the page it came from rather than taking the model's word for it.

+What if the AI gets something wrong?

Findings are presented for review, not applied silently. Comparison and gap output is ranked and reviewable, and nothing writes back to a policy record without a person confirming it.

+Do I need to be on PrismAMS to use any of this?

The AI workflows are part of the platform. If you are staying on your current AMS, talk to us about AgencyDesk, which brings a similar workflow layer to agencies running Applied Epic.
