A Join page for your website: online membership applications with card payment
Associations get a public application page to link from their own website. Applicants pick a membership, answer the questions that set the price, enter their details and pay the first year by card. The record lands in Memberships as an applicant and turns active when the invoice is paid.
Until now a new member was something staff typed in after the application form came back. The Join page takes the application itself, on your own branding, and prices it the way your dues tiers already work.
- Switch it on under Member Types > Online application, pick the link (yours is app.prismams.com/apply/your-name) and check which member types it offers. Put the link behind the Join button on your website.
- Pricing follows your tiers. Agent-count bands ask how many licensed agents are at the agency; state-count tiers ask which states the company covers; anything else is a straight pick. The price updates on the page as they answer, and the server prices it again on submit.
- An application creates the agency or company, the primary contact, the membership as an Applicant with its first term, and the opening invoice. The applicant gets the invoice by email with a pay-by-card link, and is sent straight to Stripe Checkout on your own account.
- Paying the invoice in full makes the membership Active. You can also approve one by hand from the membership record, and it raises no second invoice.
- A current member who tries to apply again is told so and pointed at renewal. Someone who applied already and comes back is picked up where they left off, not duplicated.
- Staff who subscribe to the new-membership notification hear about every application as it arrives.
